Michael Deane has revolutionised the eating out scene in Belfast. He has held a Michelin star for over thirteen years, the longest ever in Ireland.
He puts his consistent success down to his 100 plus strong professional staff working throughout all seven of the Deane Restaurants, each one of whom takes responsibility for providing the best local food cooked with flair and imagination and served to perfection.
During the 2020 lockdown with Restaurants unable to open, an online solution to allow diners to order carryout meals was required. Time was off the essence and Studio55 were able to build an ordering system to control stock levels and time slots for four of the Deanes restaurants that were offering a carryout menu to enjoy at home. A five day turnaround was completed on this bespoke solution to allow the ease of ordering for customers.
"Studio55 were contacted on a Thursday regarding a website to allow customers to order carryout food online throughout the COVID19 Pandemic – with a live date of five days later. We successfully built and deployed the website going live the following Tuesday. It ran during the lockdown offering carryouts from four of the restaurants. "
